Anke Huiskes

Anke Huiskes started her career at Procter & Gamble in the Netherlands leading a team to drive commercial results for the Personal Beauty Care Business in various countries in Europe. She moved to San Francisco 6 years ago to join Pebble Smartwatch as their Head of European Sales. She is currently the Director of Sales and Trade Marketing at Willow Pump, the world’s first all-in-one wearable breast pump.

Anke has a deep passion for how new technology can improve people’s lives, especially around women’s health. Anke started angel investing 3 years ago privately and as Analyst-in-Residence at Health Tech Capital – a group of private investors dedicated to funding and monitoring new health tech startups. She is also an investing member in Portfolia’s Femtech Fund, a fund that focuses on emerging technologies, products and services improving women’s health and wellness throughout their lives. She is currently in the process of setting up her own Angel Fund, Aletta. The fund’s mission is to be a strategic business investment partner and have more women appointed to key positions in high growth companies. Anke has a Cum Laude Master’s Degree in Marketing and lives with her husband and 2 kids in San Francisco.
