Marissa Payne brings her robust education in wine and beverage to The Riddler as Beverage Director. Payne, a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, previously served as Beverage Manager at the Intercontinental San Francisco and Wine Director for their Michelin Star restaurant, Luce.

Payne has also held positions as Wine Director for Pollux Wine (ecommerce), Sommelier at Rose.Rabbit.Lie. in Las Vegas and as Wine Director and Bar Manager at Megu New York in New York City.

She has curated award winning wine lists and was named as one of Zagat’s 30 Under 30 in San Francisco for 2015.

An advocate for women in the workplace, Payne works for an all women funded Champagne Bar that was built by an all-female management team.
