Founder and Principal Inclusion Strategist, Embedded Consulting

Sumayyah Emeh-Edu is the Founder and Principal Strategist of Embedded Consulting. She has over 15 years’ professional experience leading various initiatives within higher education and corporate sectors, focused primarily on diversity and professional development.  In that time, Emeh-Edu has successfully organized Tech Inclusion and The Better Man Conference, as well as supported clients such as Charles Schwab, One Medical, KQED and Blue Shield of California. She understands systemic inequities throughout the education-workforce pipeline; this was the impetus to commit herself to challenging the status quo for inclusion.

She is passionate about supporting individuals in their professional development and community initiatives that support equity.  Emeh-Edu is a Board Member for Techtonica, an apprenticeship program for women and non-binary adults to gain programming skills.  Professional affiliations include the following:  ATD Golden Gate Chapter, National Diversity Council, and Women’s Global Leadership Initiative.
