Torin Perez encourages everyone to live more fully and lead change in their own lives. With a focus on inspiring inclusive leadership, inclusivity, and authentic personal storytelling, Torin is a transformative force guiding organizations to realize the potential of their people. His methods are grounded in psychology, and he has practiced as a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and Mind Gym Coach Facilitator. Since 2015, Torin has delivered learning experiences and spoken to over 30 organizations, including Fortune 500 companies. Torin’s work is greatly inspired by his mentor Frances Hesselbein, the former CEO of the Girl Scouts of the USA who received the Presidential Medal of Freedom for being a pioneer for women, diversity, and opportunity. In 2016, he was selected to join the first class of the TED Residency, an incubator for breakthrough ideas. In this space, he has continued to lend his expertise to give guidance and coaching to the dozens of Residents giving TED Talks. Torin is a StartingBloc Social Innovation Fellow, One Young World Ambassador, and 2017 nominee for the Rosoff Award as a 20-something leading the way for his generation with a new vision for diversity & inclusion. His first book to inspire leaders will release in 2018.
