Natasha Zouves is a multi-ethnic, Emmy Award-winning journalist who is passionate about journalism’s capacity to give a voice to the voiceless. The daughter of immigrants and a proud Bay Area-native, she is thrilled to be home. Zouves comes to ABC7 in San Francisco after anchoring and reporting at ABC in San Diego. Zouves brings a strong science background to her reporting and has a passion for health news that affects the community. In San Diego, she fought to cover how mortality from breast cancer disproportionately affects women of color, and the rise of the Zika-spreading mosquito in largely low-income neighborhoods. In San Francisco, she is honored to anchor the Morning news and help start your day with the stories that matter. Catch her 4:30am-7am M-F.
A Renaissance Scholar, Zouves graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Annenberg School of Journalism at University of Southern California and also received her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. She believes in the power of media to shine a light and empower, and is an expert on harnessing the power of storytelling in this increasingly digital age. She would love for you to connect with her: Instagram and Twitter.
