6,000 PBWC Conference Attendees Stand Up for Women’s Equality and Advancement

At this critical juncture for women’s rights around the globe, PBWC convened a sold-out and content-rich day of powerful conversations about equality, diversity and change.

Ashley Judd and Adama Iwu joined PBWC Founder Jackie Speier to share personal and impassioned truths about the #MeToo / #TimesUp movement.

Manal al-Sharif, Bernard J. Tyson and Rosie Rios reminded us the women everywhere are fighting for the most basic levels of equity: at home, at school, in the workspace and even in American history books and on U.S. currency.

And the day ended with inspirational talks from Maria Shriver, Lynne Twist and Hafsat Abiola-Costello, and the indomitable duo Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.

In addition, the day was marked by 18 seminar sessions, a wealth of active networking and social media engagement, and a vibrant Expo Marketplace.
