Dr. Elizabeth Kapu’uwailani Lindsey is the first Polynesian Explorer and female Fellow in the history of the National Geographic Society. She is an internationally recognized expert in the field of cultural intelligence.
She serves as an advisor to global institutions and is a member of such boards as the Tibet Fund for His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Islands First with United Nations Ambassadors.
In 2010 Dr. Lindsey received the Visionary Award from the United Nations.
In 2004 Lindsey was named Woman of the Year in Hawai’i.
